Yep....this is a photo of me at a Montangard party. Those jugs are full of a mixture of rice wine. At the very top is a reed which spans the opening. From this reed drops down another re ed about 2 inches long which extends into the top of the mixture. The custom is to drink down to thebottom of the reed in the first jug and then move to the second. (The first is refilled to the proper hieght with water.) As you can see there are a number of jugs to go through and I am sure I would not be standing after getting to the last one. I did try a few. I did not get sick....but felt good.
