On the right is work from my classes at Cleveland High School. When you go into each section there is a gallery.  In each gallery you can see a larger version by clicking on the images.

My classes are centered around Careers in Art.  Students are given assignments that mirror the work actually done by professional designers and art directors.

There are students every semester that come into my class thinking they have no artistic ability and leave wanting to be designers.  This happens because they are engaged in learning and have discovered career paths that bring meaning and purpose to their lives.

I think you will see the higher levels of thinking skills that are involved when you see the quality and diversity of the work shown here.   I am every day amazed by my student's ideas, enthusiasm and zest for living.

In the image below you can see my classroom.  Note the images printed and presented on the wall.  This is a very important part of the process.  I print all assignments and post them on the walls for everyone to see and discuss.  This brings closure to the lesson just finished and a promise for creative involvement in the next.
