| Sylvester Stallone is an American actor, director, and film writer. He was born in New York City in 1946 growing up in an Italian-American household. Stallone first takes on the monumental role of Rocky Balboa in 1976 at the age of 30 and would continue to until the series end in 2006. Stallone is universally known for his Hollywood action movies including blockbuster hits such as Rocky and Rambo. Stallone's success began with one of his first films, Paradise Alley, and this success would continue after he wrote the script for Rocky and presented it to Paramount Pictures. After it's release, Rocky would go on to win three Oscars although it was nominated for ten. Throughout his career in Hollywood, Stallone has worked both infront of the camera and behind the scenes. Besides starring in them, Stallone also directed three out of the six Rocky movies and wrote all of them. One of the stars more recent hits, The Expendables, released during the summer of 2010 included other action stars such as Bruce Willis and Jet Li. |

Burgess Meredith takes on the role as Rocky's menor and trainer. He was born in Meredith appears in all six rocky movies although his character dies in the third film. Other roles Meredith is known for is his work as the Penguin in the orginal Batman television series. Meredith was born in 1907 in Cleveland Ohio. His final films would be Grumpy Old Men in 1993 and Grumpier Old Men in 1995. In his ealier years Meredith was involved in theater, television, and additional cinematic roles. To go along with with his rugged looks and gravelly voice, he would usually play roles that required him to take on acts suchs as the everyday hero or villian. Throughout all his works he has been versitile in both dramatic and comedy films.

| Talia Shire plays Adrian, Rocky Balboa's life long love. Rocky and Adrian first meet in the first film and would go on to marry in the second. Throughout the entire series until her announced death in Rocky Balboa, Adrain is constantly advocating and nagging Rocky in an attempt to stop him from fighting. Other films in which Talia Shire takes on another large role was in the Godfather series as Connie Corleone from 1972 until 1990. |

| Carl Weathers appears in the first four Rocky movies as Apollo Creed. Apollo creed, the world heavyweight champion, was Rocky's first enemy in the first two films. After realizing Rocky's potential, Apollo creed decides to train Rocky and from that point on the two become the best of friends. Carl Weathers is also known for his career as a professional football player in the United States and Canada. Other movies that Weathers has appeared in includes the first Predator and Happy Gilmore. |
