During the 1970's there was a technological break through.   Many technologies that were used in the past were being changed into bigger and better versions of the first idea.   Many computers took up more then a whole room for a simple program.   Video games started to be developed into easier ways to have fun.

The first video game system that was developed and was able to be played in the home was the Atari 2600.   The 2600 was one of the first video game systems that the average family could have inside their house.   To connect the 2600 to the TV you would have to use a TIA.   A TIA was codename for a Television Interface Adapter, this allowed an outside video component to be plugged into the TV and the picture would pop up.   With this advancement in technology different equipments were allowed to hooked up to the TV and games were allowed to be played.

Computers were technology that was perfected during the 1970's.   In the past, computers were machines that took up a whole room for a simple program.   In the 1920's the computer made working from home easier.   Even though the colors were not that advanced they could still run typing programs.   The programs details were not that complicated but they eventually developed into games, they started having colors and were later transformed into Internet browsers.

The 1970's transformed our daily living. It made it easier to have more fun at home.   These advances in technology helped us to get to where we are now.
